50mm is a sweet spot - not distortion, not too close to make the photo flat.

Color/Picture Profile need to change too

It takes me a year + to gather the funds for a new camera body. If I drop it and damage it, I will be without my psychological therapy for at least a year. So I keep a strap on my camera at all times (wrist strap or a neck strap - I use PGYTECH Universal Quick Connectors because Peak De$ign has lost their mind about cost vs utility). I couldn't' agree more on a backpack quick release camera clip for my camera (I use the NEEWER GP66 because Peak De$ign again :) .. for my Pentax K-3 Mark iii) .. I am on the lookout for a good organizer bag like your two sided cable holding bag. My camera bag (currently a sling bag), has gotten too busy inside, and tends to drop things when I open it. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Relying on a platform you have no control over is not a good business model.

But why do you edit the pictures ? I which if you put the pictures without post processing so we can see the real photos how they look, any phone can generate these photos with some edit and color play. I which is someone can just test the basic or full auto mode so we normal users can see what this phone really brings to us, also I which if someone test it on portrait taking pics of people because most phones are very good and close or better than cameras when taking street or nature photos. I remember my redmi note 7 used to take nature photos that no one believe they were from a budget phone.

I haven't stopped watching. I don't like UA-cam Shorts (or the ±1min concept in its entirety). I watch your videos to get some fresh compositional ideas for my own street photography, and I give your tips-n-tricks videos a look to see if there's anything you cover that isn't something I already know (say, a camera setting I've always ignored but you point out its utility, as an example). I know how much work goes into creating long-form videos (even just editing hours of PoV footage and inserting the final edited shots into it) so I can appreciate the time and effort you invest. However, I think the days where anything below 2m subscribers (possibly even higher threshold than that already) simply can't make a living this way anymore. I have a lot of channels, including a modestly successful outdoor education channel with 100k+ subscribers, and it only brings in around 50 euros a month in ad revenue. I do what I do because I love doing it... but having to do a 9-5 day job to pay my way in life does eat into time I'd rather spend enjoying what I actually love doing rather than what I HAVE TO DO to pay the bills.

Focus peaking is one I would add. Particularly if using MF or DMF focusing.

Hi Pierre, I found this video very beneficial as I had Noise Reduction ON when doing long exposures. Especially Fireworks I miss a lot of good shots as it takes to long between shots. The Mechanical Shutter is another one I have to change, sometimes when shooting A nice Sport Car I have those distracting Headlights. I do like the Zebra Display. These small changes will make a big difference to the end result of my image. Thanks heaps Pierre that was Gnarly. 😊

Great video, the focus area is a big take away for me. I always thought spot focus will disable face/eye detection. (from the dslr experience) Really appreciate your time to put them together ❤

Exposure lock on the AEL button.... mine did not have this enabled by default. Zoom in on c3 for fine focus. ... and I swap shutter speed and aperture.... to confuse ppl who say they know Sony inside out 😅

Lens made by Sonnar??! WTF?!? It is made by Zeiss. Sonnar is simply the type of lens design.

In Sony cameras it is extremely important to put frequently used settings in favorites, otherwise it can be difficult to find them at the right time. "God bless" those, who made a menu so complicated and illogical :)
